First up though i’m off to New York for a few days, for more scenes like these.

So I’ve been accepted to play Canadian Music Week this year. Back to Toronto a year after playing NXNE in the same great city. I can’t wait, I’ll be playing Cameron House on Friday the 9th of May.

Michael Cassidy - The Men Who Stood Beside Me In The War

So the other month i was driving by a beautiful church in the west end of Glasgow and thought i would love to sing in there, so i jumped out the car and just walked in and did it. It was an amazing space, so i thought of doing more and very originally calling them Church Sessions. I’ll be doing another few tracks from a chosen church soon, so get in your requests below and if i like the track i’ll play it.

Hope you enjoy.

Well what would a trip to Cornwall be if there wasn’t a good few photos of me looking into the distance on a cliff top. The last night was in Tywardreath at The New Inn, what a wonderful bunch of people and a great pub. This is my pub now.

I huge thanks has to go to Louise Martin for making this trip possible, always an absolute joy to head down to Cornwall and meet up with her and everyone who comes along to the gigs. Thanks again and see you all soon.

So the next day it was a gig at Truro’s The Nightjar but first a short trip to the classic Cornish town of Portloe. What a weekend of weather i had, after what seemed like months of rain, it was blue skies everyday.

So here are a few photos from my short Cornish tour from last week. After a long drive down from Glasgow leaving at 5am, i finally arrived at the beautiful Lusty Glaze beach, where i was playing a Woodburner session on the beach you can see above. Yes that meant having to carry the PA up and down the cliff steps.
